A new name to the Hutton House family, Bar Familiar has landed at Abbotsford Convent, taking over the former Cam’s Kiosk site. Founded by former Convent staffers Alessia Augello and Stephanie Lane, the duo have created something entirely their own, with Head Chef Alisha Grant at the helm of a European-leaning all day kitchen.

We partnered with the team across a two-month press project to build buzz ahead of opening, kicking off with a coming soon announcement to put Bar Familiar firmly on Melbourne’s dining radar as one of the city’s most anticipated arrivals.
